Thanks you for idea candle.
I created a group "stefi" with an f instead of ph because it takes only five letters.
If you want to complete, put the word 'stefi'.

Thank you Yoko, I have now lit a candle for our beautiful little Phi

Thank you ! :loveshower:
We watched for hours Stephi.
We were patient, we create links with Stephi.
You can read it while thinking of Stephi
[Fox = Stephi] and [The Little Prince = us]

Little Prince :
What it means to "tame"?- It is an act too often neglected, said the fox. It means "create links ..."
- Create links?- Of course, said the fox. You're still a boy for me just like a hundred thousand other little boys. I don't need of you. And you do not need me either. I am for you a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. You will be unique for me. I will be for you unique ...
(...) - You understand those you tame, said the fox. Men no longer have the time to understand anything. They buy things all ready made at the shops. But as there is point buy friendship, men have more friends. If you want a friend, tame me!

- What should I do? said the little prince.- It must be very patient, answered the fox. You'll sit down at a little distance from me, like that in the grass. I will look on the corner of his eye and you will say nothing. Words are the source of misunderstandings. But every day, you will sit a little closer ...So the little prince tamed the fox. And when the hour of departure drew near
- Ah! said the fox ... I'll cry.- It's your fault, said the little prince, I never wished you any harm, but you create links!
- Of course, said the fox.- But you'll cry! said the little prince.
- Of course, said the fox.- So you do not win anything!
I Win, said the fox, because of the color of wheat.(...)
(...)
- Farewell, he said ...- Farewell, said the fox. Here is my secret. It is very simple: One sees clearly only with the heart. The essential is invisible to the eyes. (...). Time that you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.- It's time that I have wasted for my rose ... said the little prince, in order to remember.
- Men have forgotten this truth, said the fox. But you must not forget it.

Antoine de St Exupéry, "the little prince"

I just found and watched some videos of Tormi from last year. :loveshower: Tormi reminds me of Stephi so much... It was kind of comforting to see how life goes on from year to another. And perhaps next year we´ll see another baby of Tuuli and Remo (or Mr. Blonde  ). :2thumbsup:

(Tormi seemed a bit more ready-to-go at age 58 days, but otherwise very much alike Stephi. :loveshower: I´m going to watch a lot of more videos and read old topics... :book: )

Do you mean this one?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMvVmdfv ... e=youtu.be

Tormi didn't catch a cold so he was stronger and got ready to fly earlier. Also he was ringed only on the 25th of July and wasn't as stressed as Stephi.

No, I mean this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcbP1MpfeaI&feature=plcp
Haven´t seen the video you suggested yet, but I´m going to watch it too. Thanks.
Just a few days more and I believe Stephi could have been jumping on the branches like Tormi did in this video. :(

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDtsfBc0 ... ure=relmfu Here the parents are calling when the nest was empty. This year was not calling, I guess they knew something...

This is beautiful too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76Rgpd6iqZ0

So many videos, I haven´t watched them all yet! :faint: Thank you who ever made them!

For our dear, very loved and very missed, Stephi.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of the easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Hello, I am Kay. I came from Taiwan.

In Taiwan, we have many people watching these cams.
And the same thing is ... we love Stephi very much.

The day, August 6, I end my word of a day, my girl friend called me."Stephi is gone"
"That is impossible, she is so big and strong, he can defeat any enemy"..
But, this is a truth.
I deeply heartborken, crying.. "WHY?? she is almost ready to fly"
A few days ago... I still feel so sad...

A season is passed, Klave has flew out, wish he will always be fine.
and Nori, be independent quickly , you still hae a migration trip.
Especially thanks for Tulli, Remo, and Mr.Blond..
And the most brave and lovely Stephi, you teach me the strong of life

The day keep go on, now Stephi have lots of people loving her.
She will be happy in heaven.
I always tell my friend "Stephi will be Queen of this forest! ",
now... I hope She will be Queen of the heave..

Thanks you all on this Forum, and staffs..
I this never forget everything about Stephi and everything.

Another day, I had a good cry tonight again after watching videos of Stephi. How I miss her, she just fought so hard to live and in the end did not make it. I wish things were different for you Stephi.

The cam is not working now, but I come here for serenity, to see posts, videos and memories of Stephi.

Miss you Stephi, from afar am sending you love.

Crystal

I cannot find back the contact from Techno-Urmas - where he allowed us to give him a note when cam is not streaming, but maybe Jo has already given him a question to help?

Hi,

you can drop me email, if cam is broken. In a few cases encoder just stops encoding and sits quietly, so I need to kill this encoder process.

Urmas

Here is the message, no e-mail. But I assume the e-mail can be sent via LK.

If you click on the members to the left of user control you will get a list of all members -- luckily urmaslett is rather near the top of the list #12 in the default order I think.

In the beginning of this video you see how surprised and scared Tuuli was when little Tormi moved and some of us think that Tormi was first ever chick for Tuuli
