Thanks for telling us...it was really interesting to see all this. It is not too far from
Illmatsalu and Tartu! In winter the wolves often come from there, also to the Estonian surroundings of the "Boars feeding grounds".Do you remember the howling on 1.3.2009?

As I always read "Hoer Zu" I knew what was to come, I love to see those
reports conc. nature.
How attentive to warn us, thanks!

You can find a video in: News History..scroll down to: All Articles, down
to 02.03.2009: Video called: Wolfpack Near Feeding Ground.
Sound on your PC loud!
You'll see the boars first and look at the boar who hears the howling first..and how they respond to those sounds!

For a while the film will be in the ARD-Mediathek, I just checked for the link:

http://www.ardmediathek.de/das-erste/we ... d=11445184

I think this cam in Alutaguse is also not too far from the lake.

(Another outing, besides Käsmu, on the "must-do-list" - http://www.natourest.ee/index.php?optio ... &Itemid=28)

you are welcome! The Estonian TV we all did not understand, but pictures speak for themselves!

Two raccoon dogs are there right now!

Pitch black, no spotlight at all, & of course now sound. Only the time flicking in the upper corner.

Soooooo . . . since we have not heard the boar smack-smacking when he was here, I will post video from Mangolink cam here just this one time  -- the Spanish boars are enjoying their meal tonight. Smack-smack-smack . . . :loveshower:
