Re: ESTLAT Osprey Nest Webcam Discussion 2012
Another unusual thing is within four minutes Madis deliver two fishes, as fast as an icebox just nearby! [/quote]
And Nori a few minutes later lost it!
Where the fish go?

17.34:23Madis with headless fish for Elo
17.37:47Madis with next fish (only 3 minute and 10 second later) and Uno 17.34:48
Nori blocked Uno or pushed Madis out of the nest.

It was clearly some confusion in the nest. NORI did block UNO and push Madis out but se could see ELO having and defending his fish so ..... nobody noticed the other fish. They turned their backs to the nest and just by a chance NORI turned her head around and saw the stray fish . She claimed it without a rush or scream.aita wrote:17.34:23Madis with headless fish for Elo

19:18 fish delivery by Madis - NORI was faster and claimed the fish
UNO is very VOCAL - clearly not happy about being "fishless"
Starling, I can see from your pictures that UNO was in much better position to catch the fish - NORI was just much faster (maybe - more hungry?)

Can somebody just tell, why ospreys have those feathers under wings
I have problems with Photobucket. Uploding take time OK, but it put pictures in wrong time order. If i add titles 1, 2, 3.....99 it take very very long time and dont know still, can i make slideshow by the titles order. Do somebody knows place where i can keep my pictures with my filename (it is in time order) or at least in my order.
I put this question to the technical forum also. Can someone please reply me there.

21:00 The MIGHTY NIGHT is coming.
It's getting DARK and it is quiet: no wind, no rain and total silence .
Goodnight our BABIES - sleep tight.

5:33 still quiet ...
Yesterday the first osprey was heard at 5:37 .... what time will they make their presence known this morning?
5:45 Still quiet. did I hear a far-off cheep? (edit, yes, but not an osprey)
5:50 yes, that was an osprey!
5:51 Someone lands on the cam And is calling loud and clear.
