This morning I met only one stork - yesterday I wasn't looking, but the day before yesterday there were two storks in the nest.

but now they are together again.

Yesterday one of the young storklets did his lessons and flew away. After taking a turn he liked to fly back but he hanged on a branch - tried to get away from this. The other storklet first looked at him, then he went backwards and nearly he were falling out of the nest. He went and could not look at his brother?. It took 35 minutes until the bad luck stork get free. There is a video at their side - one could cry to see something like that. I am happy that everything went well :loveshower:

The cam seems to have an end now - I don't understand the written things in that language - sorry. So I say "Auf Wiedersehen" to all the animals, I was allowed to accompany on the live cams.

Someone spotted the first egg around 0:50 AM local time!
They had been very busy on the nest up until now, bringing in lots of softer stuff.

But it didn't hold Dad from ... just mating when Mom had settled down on the new egg (after they had been looking at it time and again, and after he stirred her to stand up when she tried to sit down):

There is a video of the night where the storks get their third egg. On the cam now the eggs are covered very well - I will have a look more often to get a pic maybe.
Good luck - dear birds!

The cam doesnt work very clear and for that I did not take many pics from the storks. But here are two of today:

Image Image

Three young storks are in the nest, on the right pic one is sleeping. What happened with the fourth of the storklets were so sad that I did not like to write about it.

Pictures of 22nd and 25th of June - the cam does not allow very good pictures - for that I was watching but not taking many photos.

The storklets will be strong enough to leave the nest and starting a hopefully good and sound life. Bye and always enough wind under your wings
