Some news from south:
Five of tagged BSs are turned to their spring migration.
Raivo arrived to Israel (from Tanzania)
Oss left Israel at Monday, last data from southern Turkey (but a bit strange locations from yesterday in a daytime in one place during afternoon...)
Valdur left Ethiopia Monday morning and is now in Sudan.
Kaku left Ethiopia yesterday and was today in Eritrea.
Priidu left Central African Republic at Monday and stops in Sudan in more wet area.

Lembit is still waiting for right time.

Also, an unusual (child's) view of spring. (Father writes that the child has never seen that painting.)

Storkaholics of the World - our winter retreat is coming to an end.
Clean and decorate your homes. Tidy the gardens, buy enough food for a siege of 4 months. We shall soon be glued to our webcams, day and night.

Our Black Storks are coming home.

Urmas, thank you for bringing us the news.

Clean and decorate? Tidy gardens? No way!!! I have been watching a pair of robins build their nest in the backyard....and getting ready for another year with our storks!

Good morning everybody !

I haven't seen you for ages :(
During this time I established a hungarian home page called
BirdWatchers.

Please take a look at that video greeting the beginning of the
new season.

The new season has begun

It was made one our forum members called Baby.

Hi, Geogre! It's long time since Estonian Black Storks left on the route.. To think, only two weeks left to wait..and they will return.
The video of White Storks is touching! Welcome to you too

Maybe we should hire a helicopter so that Urmas can be lowered to the nest to put the webcam in place :puzzled:

I keep thinking that our storks will arrive at the nest before the snow has cleared enough, to let him get there
