A question:
Is there is a list of the ringed Estonian eagles who carry, in addition, a name?
Riita, the best information we have is here.

viewtopic.php?f=72&t=565

It is our list of Active Looduskalender Webcams, with names of birds, where known. The ring numbers are not included there. When such information is available you will find it on Page 1 of that webcam topic.

I hope, you are right!!! (I don't get the wind mills out of my mind.) I'm so glad, mom is there and I hope, she will hunt a big fish, if Sulev will not come tomorrow morning.

Sulev was in the nest this morning and brought Illimar a fish - just before Linda dropped in.
This afternoon he flew past the nest
It would have been nice when all three had eaten together a fish in the evening.
Maybe Sulev will be waiting until it is dark and we can no longer watch. :whistling:

In the video at 9.16 pm one can see the spots on Linda's tail, still there. A bit of 48 sekunds had passed when Linda left to the branch to the left.

ame wrote: i tried it now, too. i have some questions..
it can show one one picture at a time, right? if you want to save the picture in your computer how that done?

it didn't show any video now because the server is not working. if everything is ok, how long does it play video? can the video be downloaded to one's own computer?

i'm using NeoDownloader Lite for downloading Pontu pictures in batches of hundreds of pictures. the day is so long now that there are well over 1000 pictures in a normal day. that will take some time and a lot of storage capacity in computer (one picture is nearly 200 kBytes). 0Hansen once taught us how to do it. i gave Chimega some instructions once but i haven't heard if she has ever used it. i htink that Felis Silvestris uses Neodownloader to download pictures from many nests daily. i download only WTE pictures.

if anyone is interested i can make notes of how to use NeoDownloader. just drop a line to me if you are interested.
If you click on the photo on my webapp it will open the original pontu link into browser. Also you can just drag and drop directly from image to desktop to save.
For videos, you can't save directly from my page, but you can open ios stream in programs like VLC and then stream it into file.

I wouldn't recommend downloading so many pictures from pontu. It just wastes a lot of server traffic. I don't know whether the club pays for the hosting or its offered to them for free, but if they do and there is some sort of monthly transfer limit, it can end up costing them a lot of extra money.

*Note that snapshots generated by me are only stored for 3 days due to disk space limitation on the server.*

The first fish Sulev brought earlier...then Linda came they fed him together. This second fish, Illimar mantled and has almost got the idea of how to eat it by himself.

good morning! :hi:

Illimar's crop is so big that it must have had something more than the little fish.

6:26 parent's voice from nearby ... and crow calls.
Illimar lays down.

thank you debianuser for your information.
(i'm downloading all Pontu pictures for research purposes. i don't think it's wasting resources.)

Illimar almost disappears into the shadow in the nest bowl.

Also, it is worth noting that at some point in the future the pontu pictures probably will not be available at this web address.
