Ilmar calls sometimes, Irma and intruder are silent

Intruder flies off

Ilmar is flown away shortly thereafter.
It was a strange situation, tension was in the air. Ilmar has not attacked intruder.
Whether they knew each other :puzzled:

The intruder stayed at the edge of the nest for almost a minute it seemed. Ilmar didn't attack only mantled. After the other osprey flew off, he flew after it.

Intruder alarm - calling, mantling and excitement

11:10
Meanwhile Irma has arrived on the nest, too, and takes over incubation, Ilmar is still calling and takes off.
But situation seems to have calmed down.

11:13
Irma calling again, she is still not pleased with the situation

11:31 - Irma flew off

11:31 - camera went offline

11:32 - camera back online and Irma back on the nest

11:34 - Irma flew off again. Sound of a motorcycle or motorsaw or something similar is heard in the distance

11:35 - in the background an osprey flies from left to right

11:36 - Irma back again

11:42 - Ilmar lands on the nest, calling and mantling. Briefly the shadow of the intruder is seen over the nest

11:50 - Ilmar flies into the direction of the dead tree, after been looking around ever since he landed on the nest. The situation seems calmed down again

11:56 - Ilmar lands on the nest again, calling and mantling

12:05 - Ilmar flies off to the right

12:07 - osprey warning calls in the distance

12:08 - the intruder very briefly landed on the nest. Ilmar followed and the intruder took off again

12:13 - the intruder tried again to land on the nest. All 3 birds were flapping wildly

Thank you, Starling. I have the same pictures.
