He was in nest and called very loudly.

16.20 Koit

16.22 Alo

16.27 Ago

EDIT later: I think leanne meant Agu not Ago (both Agu and Koit mean daybreak or dawn)
To me the name Alo doesn´t connect with sunrise

Two men have been made a fire wood about 250m of nest and they were caught by inspectors in the act (sawing in the state forest). Hopefully that catch helps in the future...
No problems for the eagles happened, though noise was terrible.

Thank you for the news, Urmas.
It is reassuring to know that these vandals can be stopped.

So - we heard, and Urmas heard the noise via this webcam - and Urmas called the officials ~ he is a hero! I bet those men would be very surprised to learn how they were caught.

There has been a lot of nest building this morning. Both eagles flying in and out with branches. Eha has done most of the fussing about to place the pieces.

Eha was in the nest, she called her mate loudly and she got some respond too. He was somewhere nearby, but he didn't come to the nest this time

@ verlit
"coitus" :rotf: now if you said...well that is what we need in this nest actually (until it isn`t coitus interruptus)

Eha checked again

Edit: 11.10...11.30 one of them, only heard

11.30 I heard BS calling :faint: (maybe it is some terrible storkaholic sickness to hear BS voices)

leanne wrote:will we discusslatvian eagle here as well or will we have a new topic?

i wonder if latvians have names for their eagles. There's no good parallel for Koit and Eha, but there's a girl name with meaning "dawn", that's Ausma and boy's name with meaning of "early" that's Agris
Perhaps it would be better have another topic for Ausma and Agris :puzzled:
I havent seen them still, every time I open the cam they are gone :faint:

05:50 Eha is standing on her nest, and birds are calling in the distance. Wood pigeons, I think.

05:58 Mr Eagle arrives (I cannot call him Koit :???: )

06:01 He leaves
