Three Ospreys in the dead tree and Yolanda alone on the nest. She flapped a bit and called over to the tree a few times.
Maybe she doesn´t like to be alone on the nest for the night

Image

Balcony plant looks pretty limp

Ha, no wonder ....

Yolanda is antsy fluttering around on the nest.

It is too dark to see who landed on the nest but Yolanda chirped happily and now the two of them are lying side by side

No fish delivery this morning. Maybe they made outside deliveries or parents want Yolanda to fly.
When pontu-pictures started at 4:43 only Thor and Yolanda were at the nest.

Mostly Yolanda was alone today, only some visits by Thor and Niina.

Good girl, Yolanda! :loveshower:
After the flight Irma keeps company to Yolanda on the nest. Yolanda lied down for a moment, she seemed a little exhausted panting a while. 8-)

13:31 Fish delivery, Irma jumps down from cam and takes the fish, mantling so Yolanda can't get the fish

14:09 All kids are at home, Irma on the cam stand, are waiting and calling for fish.
14:11 Niina flew off.

14:33 A headless fish from Joosep. Yolanda got it, she was alone on the nest. Niina landed, called for the fish and took off at 14:35.
14:39 Niina back, tried to take the fish from Yolanda, but no success. She left at 14:41.
14:48 The fish is gone.

Delivery to Yolanda, it looks like Niina who is a bit bitter being left without fish
http://193.40.124.24/2015-kalakotkas2-f ... -14-33.jpg

14:35 Niina left
http://193.40.124.24/2015-kalakotkas2-f ... -14-36.jpg

Someone is circling around and above the nest and disturbs Yolanda's eating

14:38
A sibling flew in, both follow something in the air

Yolanda tries to eat as quickly as possible because a sibling (Niina?) shows eager interest in the prey ...

14:41
Niina (?) took off and came back again 14:43 and left again ...

It looks good for Yolanda, she succeeds to keep the fish and eat it wholly :2thumbsup:

14:49
Irma arrived with fish - I believe it is Niina who dives in and catches the prey = a fish tail
Irma on the cam

14:53
Niina finishes the fish and takes off

Yolanda´s maiden flight

It seems that Irma was scared by someone/something and made this quick-start - and Yolanda followed her :rotf:

I don´t think she would have fledged this moment otherwise

And her landing is -eeehhhmmmm- quite elegant for a maiden landing

16:46 Thor came home, is interested in this fish
16:54 Niina swallowed the fish tail, Thor got nothing.
16:57 Niina flew off.
