Are you sure the egg was stolen? Perhaps it was just a messy situation?
Edit 14:36: Ok, I see you changed your post.

Alarm! 14:21 A young WTE landed on the nest, Anna chased it away and flew off, alarm calls around the nest.

It was covered. By miracle...

The parent made a step to chase the intruder and a twig moved and covered the eggs. It was so fast and scary. Mama Mia!!

The eggs look fine! I was worried because Anna seemed to have stepped on them badly. Hopefully they really are fine...

For some reason I cannot watch full screen - the picture turns all black. Therefore I was not able to watch properly. Was there a fish for a moment on the nest rim, before they all disappeared from the nest? Did Uku intend to bring a fish but was robbed by another eagle? (I may be wrong, it was just a glimpse)

What is that in your last picture, left corner below? Yellow claws holding something? No?
It is not there in your other pictures.

It seemed to me that this is a fish...but then this fish was brought by this young eagle... :puzzled:

I will do a video about this accident... It takes time...

That was a scary situation for a moment there. Wow.

Now after watching this a question occured to me: how long could the eggs survive without any hatching if both parents were gone? As it seems that the male is not worried about them a bit and mom seems to be away.... it's been like 20 mins now since it all started and I suppose it's not much warmer in Estonia than it is in Southern Finland (+5°C)?
The only one who got everything done by Friday was Robison Crusoe.

I don't know who brought the fish. I only assumed it was Uku because this would make more sense.

40 minutes with no problems and even longer. Last year the egg was almost an hour without cover
