I wonder how far apart the two cameras are?
Yarko, were you able to find out if the perch tree is far from the food area?

It will take a flock of crows to fly from one came to the other about 2-3 seconds, so they are pretty closeJo UK wrote:I wonder how far apart the two cameras are?

Martin, Whatever ravens cannot eat they will take away and hide in various parts of the neighbourhood. They will, of course, be followed by other corvids intent on stealing the cached food after the 'owner' has flown away. It's something like a game. That's why ravens are always laughing. They are full of practical jokes.Martin wrote:Will the crows and ravens ever get full, they just keep eating and eating...

Well, the food is about to run out, the eagle seems to be lurking near by all the time, but obviously without hunger. Until there is no snow, it has plenty of food to catch, i guess

How can one eagle, or two, manage to drive off that raven mob and get at the food? I can't see it happening, can you?

Do eagles eat ravens and crows if they are hungry enough? Next winter there will not be lack of fat ravens and crows.

I think if the eagle would land in the middle of that mob, they all would fly away, this is not a small eagle, triple the size of a ravenJo UK wrote:How can one eagle, or two, manage to drive off that raven mob and get at the food? I can't see it happening, can you?
