Estonian WTE Webcam 2016

The weather in Estonia looks pretty awful although the sunset last night was nice. Hopefully the wind settles down.
The chicks looked cozy and comfortable as parents changed turns in babysitting. They have nice "pot" where they lay, it must keep some of the wind out, too.

There's a lot of fish on the nest. Has it been (possible to be) measured ever how much a grown eagle eat in a day? The parents seem to eat little nibs every now and then.
I suppose they both hunt while they're gone and eat there before taking any "left overs" to the nest.

At about 19:58 Anna starts feeding. Also the smaller one has got its share. It has eaten some good sized morsels.

Here the smaller chick got its morsel. It is still to see in its beak.


The feeding was over at about 20:03.
