ED with a new fish for Irma, now it is welcome. Irma takes off with it, ED does some short nestwork and is off, too.

19:15 Irma starts calling
19:16 ED brings fish (perch), Irma flies to the dead tree with it

Mating attempt on the nest, but not successful. There was another mating (attempt?) about 20 min ago on the cam support.

Irma has an egg!

I saw it alone on the nest at 4:51:49 and took a screenshot but don't know how to upload a photo from my computer. It's mostly covered up now but you can see a bit of it peeking out.

And now the parents are back and Irma is on the egg, having pulled off the twigs covering it.

Both chasing nasty crow

07:08 Irma lands on nest, Ed chasing crow
Image

07:09 Some lands on camstand
Few seconds later ...? from camstand flies off, Irma follows immediately
Sometimes birds in the air to see
07:10 Irma for a short stop in nest and off again
07:11 Someone lands on camstand (think Osprey) and a crow passed nest
An Os lands on dead tree, crow followed and seems they had contact before landing
Image

07:12 Calls from camstand to dead tree ... it's Irma, she jumps in nest
Watching and Irma off again chasing crow from dead tree, ED follows
Image

07:13 One parent lands on dead tree, the other one chasing crow around
Image

07:13 Someone lands on camstand, Os from dead tree starts
07:35 Think Irma in nest
07:39 Suddenly off again
07:40 Back in nest, someone on camstand
Irma standing and watching all around, maybe Ed on camstand
07:48 Irma comes to rest and sit down

A video of all would be better :whistling:

Red alert on nest ... another Osprey :help:

09:25 Irma starts with alarm calls, intensiv watching
09:26 Intruder must be near, she stand up, first only mantling. Intruder comes nearer, noises from camstand to hear
Image

Irma mantling (why she shows now her backside :puzzled: )
Image

... but then flies at camstand, wing flapping to hear.

09:27 An Os flies around, think now Irma on camstand. Suddenly it flies off
09:28 Irma back in nest, mantling, calling (don't know how to discribe her sound), wing flapping ... she is very excited.
09:29 Intruder again very close
Image

09:30 An Os lands on dead tree
09:31 Os Nr 3 passed Irma very close, the other one (think Ed) on dead tree. Nr3 flies to dead tree ... now a short "fight"

Intruder comes back, can't say for sure if there was a metal ring or not.
Image

09:31 Ed landing in nest, both calling
09:32 Ed jumps on cam? Suddenly have no sound
09:35 Irma watching, again alarm call, mantling
Image

09:38 Irma now on egg
