Alright, first off, I am extremely sorry about the sound... I did not see or feel any wire breaking (though that is probably what happened) so I really did not even know that I knocked the sound out :slap: . I already spoke to Urmas Sellis and we might revisit the nest in a week or so to get the sound back online and take a couple feathers from them as genetic samples. But this is a big "we might", it is not guaranteed.

The camera lens were in a really bad state... I am lucky I decided to bring more than 2 tissues for cleaning. Let's hope they don't hit it straight on again.

Since you couldn't hear any of the ringing then here is the data.

First (big) chick:
L-41054
Wing length - 178mm
Tarsus length - 73mm
Tarsus width - 6mm x 4mm
Weight - 670g

Second (small) chick:
L-41055
Wing length - 157mm
Tarsus length - 67mm
Tarsus width - 6mm x 4.7mm
Weight - 620g

I do not want to say anything about the genders just yet, I will try to figure the genders out but I'll have to do it a bit later.

Poor Jurgen. That looked so precarious and uncomfortable.
Good work, Jurgen.

Please, no more sharp shooting at the camera! :slap:

Thanks for all reports, we've been on an outing and could not watch it.
Aitäh also to Jürgen for the good ringing work!
