What happened in time 10:33-10:34, did someone flyed away? Taiba or Rahu?
Or is there still two chicks on the branch??

there was a sound of a poopshot first, then some wing-flapping and some eaglet argument. it sounded like Rahu had flapped Taibu in the eye with his wing and Taibu wasn't happy with it. but i'm not sure if anyone (=Rahu) flew out then.


how many eaglets were at home at the time of feeding when Uku brought the fish? i had recording on but this time besides the frozen picture the sound was missing, too.

The same trick was repeated ...

11:57 the parent flew by so far and so briefly that it's difficult to get a good picture. i think there was a fish though. anyway it sounded like.


i made a slow-motion (1/3 of normal speed) close-up clip of the first fly-by. i think one can rather safely say that there was a fish.

actually the parent flew by twice, back and forth.

Earlier for getting food the eaglets had only to open their mouths but now the animals living under the nest open their mouths when food is coming. The roles have changed.

Taibu is making little voices alone at the nest level...

Taibu is today 72 days old. it may take another 10 days more before she flies. she is the youngest and she's female.
maybe the example of the boys will encourage her to take wings sooner.

Around 08:00 one of the eaglets, made a trip to the camera, nice moments! Hope someone made a video. It started few minutes before 8.

I think it was Taiba.
I hope it was her because if so, it was her first time to come out of her comfort zone on Parents branch or tree trunk.
This is a good sign and there is a chance she'll fly today.

No, it was Rahu.

He - so similar to his older brother - have decided to check web cam and made some selfies


Look at those long long nicely shaped flying feathers and his bottom plumage


He was standing for couple seconds on camera - this is his talon


He (exactly as Nord 2 days ago) decide to clean and cut old dried branches around cam


All is done! I can go back to a parents branch

Yes, it was the same eaglet, he was sitting there (I was able recognize his silhouette) until he left and flied following Dad - and Fishi !

Then it was interesting to listen two eaglets screaming... sometimes it was not difficult to distinguish Rahu s and Nord s voice
