Re: Estonian WTE Webcam 2016
Thank you Ame for your post.
We are, all of us, still learning about nest life.
I have been nest cam watching for 12 seasons, 2005 was my 1st year.
Trust me, it is completely normal to worry and asking questions is normal too.
It is a never ending education as is life!
Liz01, so Uku has been heard communicating with Anna since the nest bowl fell.

Hello, Cessie.
You started one year before I did!
I thought I had learned so much, but what I learn every year is that each nest and adult pair is different!
The more we watch, the more "in tune" we are with these individuals. We can recognise so much of their behaviour as being much like our own. (apart from the ability to fly, of course)

19:58 Parent flew by, I didn't see fish. :slap
Liz01, I didn't know that Uku would not be providing fish for the eaglets any more.
:puzzled
Mutikluti, when Urmas went to the nest site to search for Haku, did he get a picture of both parents per chance?
Anyway, we should still be able to see Uku fly near the nest site, and please Ame, Mutikluti, Liz01 or who ever has a screenshot or pontu picture please repost it. :bow
If Anna is doing all of the work to provide and protect her eaglets..... :bow faint:

Good morning!
04:20 Taibu was on the left branch. The ants are also awake, running the tree trunk up and down...
04:26:28, 04:26:38 and 04:26:50 One eaglet was in a pine between the nest tree and the bay, flew to the right and (possibly the same eaglet) back to the middle trees.
04:29:30 Anna arrived to the parents’ tree with a big fish. When Taibu got to her, Anna left with the fish to the trees on the right side. No feeding at all.
04:34:14 Anna (?) flew from the right to the left. I could not see if she still had the fish...
Some of the fish brought by the parents are really big. If we estimate that Anna is of average size, let’s say 80 cm from head to tail, this fish was almost 40 cm long.

05:01:00 A parent came to the left branch with food. Not well visible. Taibu went there and it sounded that she got some food.
05:02:52 An eaglet came to the parents’ branch. The number could not be seen clearly.
05:04:28 The parent left.

It should be just a shower, as the weather forecast promises sunshine for almost whole day to that area. But yes, the rain was so heavy, that Taibu and Rahu stopped their small quarrel. There would have been food to the eaglets for a week: probably two roe deers (?) run in the treeless area in the middle of the picture, just to the right of Rahu’s back, from 06:15:10 to 06:15:13.Liz01 wrote:ojeeee! it rains heavily
