17: 23. MM jumped off the webcam and moved the sticks a bit. A little dozing. It feels quite comfortable in the nest.

Hi everyone. Not visting this forum much(although I have a Looduskalender account for quite some time). Is there information of the origin of Black/white MM right? Anyone checked Roy Dennis' site yet I wonder?

Few minutes later another unringed osprey on the nest - and the one with the fish was not amused about this visitor and attacked it, with the fish in its talons

I´ll make a video a bit later, when the patch is available in the archives .... I had re-started my recording and lost the beginning of this event

EDIT: now that I could see the whole event - the osprey with the fish was the first on the nest

There was even more to find on this mornings archive ... our well known MM came down from the cam stand at 08:51, she could be heard rustling her feathers for quite a while before, she left again up to the cam support

MM was back to the nest at 09:49, can´t say whether she spent the whole time on the cam support .... but not much later one of the unringed ospreys around was around the nest, too - and MM decided to better leave than to have a quarrel ... unringed ospreys still stayed for a while, but then also left, with warning calls .... maybe a third one in the air ...

I placed my video despite there are now already others about the same event, I didn´t want to have made my work in vain
