it's been a beautiful sunset again.
i think i've heard a blackbird calling a few times. has anyone been able to see one?
i'll add some pictures later.

now there's a strange voice/noise?
edit: this could have been a fox, but not quite..? the foxes i've heard have sounded like 'rrhoe-rrhoe - rrrhoeww!' with descending pitch or intensity, like a dog with a sore throat and a hoarse voice. this was more like rrrhoeww..-...rrrhoeww..-... rrrhoeww with longer intervals.

garlic?? why? is there garlic there on the ground? - i haven't looked very closely today... do you mean the whitish thing that i s there in ther front, which looks like giant popcorn to me? i think it was Tsiga who told us a few days ago that it was "knotted bun". i don't know what kind of bun that is, but i suppose it must be some sort of white bread, rolls or something...asteria wrote:Do pigs eat garlic too?
i should think that garlic would go well with wild boar...

Where have our avatars gone? Can anyone see avatars, normally?
Oh, they are back - it must have been a fault in my connection!
Sorry for the alarm.

just minutes before more pigs appeared on the arena one of the boars tried to get a grip on one loaf of bread which was in the foreground.
it was tricky (frozen and too round?)
she/he tried to hold it with her/his hoof to get a better grip of it, just like a cat holding the catch with its paw .
in the end she/he was able to break one piece of if but then abandonned it in the end. then there was this large heard of boars....

Yes, it does. I had some in Denmark a while ago. It wasn't an Estonian boar, of courseame wrote: garlic?? why? is there garlic there on the ground? - i haven't looked very closely today... do you mean the whitish thing that i s there in ther front, which looks like giant popcorn to me? i think it was Tsiga who told us a few days ago that it was "knotted bun". i don't know what kind of bun that is, but i suppose it must be some sort of white bread, rolls or something...

there seem to be 9 boar left... and they are quite peaceful again as there is plenty of space for them.... except that exactly right now there seems to be some little quarrel...
i'm wearing earphones for the first time and i think i'm hearing strange noises... a while ago it was like very distant fireworks exploding. now it sounds like an airplane going above... and some more distant explosions... just like New Year..? or is it just the wind in the microphone? on the other hand i hear the munching of the pigs just like earlier, just as if they were munching in my lap.
edit: i guess it must be the wind hitting the mike. i had the volume turned very low. now i turned it back and the "explosions" sound more like normal noise... just the wind.
there are only four boar left there, but there isn't much food left either... just a few potapples around the arena and the pomelo is still in the goal on the right. i think that is too hard-frozen that it'll be spring before it gets eaten.
sniiff - sniiff - munch - tschuff... - munch - munch...
- still the dog is barking there, too.

if that was not an airplane's sound then...?
there are more boars again but not nearly as many as during the rush-hour when the were 20-something boars at the same time. now its about a dozen, mainly peacefully munching.
- i think i'll be now... bye-bye.
