I have seen the pig with the swollen leg (I do wonder what the injury was) quite often, I think it comes in the late night so at a better time for me to see it.

yesterday evening there was a short incidence, when one boar decided to show 'the place of the cupboard' to one of the other pigs. (that is a Finnish way to say: 'who is the boss'. )

I think I saw him push off an other pig that got to close.
I think this is him and he kept the eating peacefully. Next to him in this image is the pig he pushed away from the pile of food under his nose.

Later another pig just looked at the two of them and they both moved away.

Loud screeches but nothing living visible. I guess it was raccoon dogs -- sounding more like cats.

I am not sure when the lights went out, but pigs are still munching away in the almost but not quite darkness.

Image

I guess just because they are so far away they seem soooo small. The last little one does not seem to want to go. It just kept eating and now the others are returning.

Image

Image

They are constantly muttering mumbling talking to one another.

The little one won out and they stayed a while longer.

it seems to be a relatively fair morning, but not quite sunshine yet. the ground is muddy and there is no-one there. i can hear a magpie warning and ravens crowing in the forest...
