Thanks, gisno. That must be a "Hunt the Eagle" picture! I think I see a head, on the nest.

Yes you only see the head of the eagle. With so much snow this winter I was surprised to see this pair nesting again. Image taken from great distance so not to disturb the eagles.

They have a big nest, it seems!
Why the surprise - would the snow have delayed nesting - if you remember Sulev and Linda trying to clear it out? Made it difficult to find food?

I don't know if there was a reply from Norway, but you might enjoy this from the recipients of the Norwegian WTE reintroductions to Scotland, with photos.... I don't know how the Norwegian WTE specialists operate, or cooperate, but see http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/blogs/ ... 10/07.aspx

Thanks a lot, Owlie and Macko, for the links to the WTE-cams!
The norwegian nest is indeed at a charming place, - it's a beautiful view! Also the angle of view looks promising. :D

At least the Father Eagle in the Norwegian nest seems to have blue rings.
And here it is the same as in the Latvian nest: the female has more fluffy head than the male.

March 21st
Parents visited the nest in the evening as usual.
I thought the nest tree is in the heart of a fjord, but there are
quite high tides.

I was wrong as to location the nest. It is located on the island Smøla at the ocean, therefore the high tides.

The nest performs crazy dance today.
The eggs will fall out with this wind.

Swedish pair of eagles. Yesterday 25.03.15 at 19:07 she has an egg laid. I'm sure. I did not see the egg. It is difficult to see anything.
Female is since in the nest

Norvegian White Tailed Eagle
March 26. morning

Perhaps it is the first egg :D
Morning change was in the nest. Maybe mom flew away, Dad came. Unfortunately, the eggs do not see clearly from the camera position
Edit: I think mom laid egg last evening, I think saw it, just it was very dark.
