And I have done friend green tomatoes with tomatoes that are just barely yellow like some in the box under the basket.
Those tomatoes have been for 10 days in kitchen cabinet, among them I put bananas, apples and some ripe tomatoes which I bought from the store. In the cabinet there are still four boxes green ones.

I was very suspicious if I ever get any red tomato! I have watched them more than four, five,.. :rotf: months, from April in the window sill as tiny plants to September!

But, ah, they are sweet, delicious.. I almost got tears in my eyes when I tasted the first one!

Yes,there is absolutely no comparison with home-grown tomatoes. Our own are very slow too to ripen. Today hubby and I just went around the red cherry- tomatoes and ate as we went.. yummy.. :D delicious.!
The bigger ones are mostly all green still. They won't ripen all that much this week as the weather will be...wet,wet,wet. :banghead:
Seems summer has gone away..

Olga, yes I did comment on this year's tomato crop. There are many more tomatoes, they are healthier and they are so sweet!

Yes, much better than in stores! I collected the last tomatos from bushes and brought them inside. Oh, now we have about 20-30 kg tomatos.. One fourth part has been almost eaten! Half of all are still yellow or green..

I didn't believe that I could get that a big crop!

Carrots are still there outside.. and parsils too...Let them be, hm.. it's so warm, + 15 in the evening at 21:45.

The puppy makes me busy!! But I saw yesterday squirrels there. This is one of them in the midday. Who is it :puzzled: In the first photo it looks a bit like Silk ear, then Charley and in the last photo Anja! .. oh no, this is difficult!

I took the photos of one and same squirrel.

Charley??

I opened the window and filled the nut basket. Squirrel escaped in one second but retuned after 10 minutes:

He was also thirsty..

His tail! :loveshower: What a difference to the tails in summer time.. It must be very comfortable to have that kind of furry and soft tail! Winter is coming, I am sure the tail is warm when the gold and frosty weathers come.

 I think it is Charley, the ear tops seem to be growing..

He is also here, yesterday. It was so a dark day! I got only some few 'acceptable' photos.

Today was again a very dark and rainy day.. All familiar squirrels visited along the day, Anja, Charley and Silk ear. . It's interesting that they have not become 'less alerted'. They escape in a second when they notice me moving behind the window.. Silk ear perhaps is more used to 'me' than others, not much! But she does not hurry that fast away as others.. I don't want to domesticate them!

Only five photos, all of Silk ear, two first in the morning, and the three others at 19:00 in lamp light without flash. Poor of her, she seems to be all wet..

All your squirrels are wonderful to look at, Olga: so well fed! :peek:

Many thanks for your beautiful pictures!

But I wonder how you are able to distinguish one from the other? Besides the growing long hair tuft at the ears of one I am not able to see any difference! Is it their behaviour that helps you to differenciate? :puzzled:
