Suggest Names for Karula '23 Black Stork chicks

Post by juta »

Please, suggest names for our now ringed storklets.

In previous years we used to give names starting with a letter on the ring and if there were no letters we gave names starting with K.

7192 (with transmitter)
7193
7194

When you suggest a name, then numbers first and then names.
I ask you not to post a long list of names because then it would be not easy to decide what to take or what to leave for the poll.

I found a site with names starting with K.
There are blue lines for boys, reddish lines for girls, and light green lines with names used for both genders.

https://nimed.neanky.ee/et/nimed/algus/K/

Names used for both gender from this site: Kai, Kait, Kalvi, Karen, Karol, Keir, Keit, Kerri, Kert, Kim, Kris, Kristen

This is only my suggestion! Everyone can find out something else.

I think it would be appropriate if the storklet with the “bad character” were named Karen!

Question: Can there be Estonian words too? Or just names?
Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird? - David Attenborough

#7192 - Kai (It sounds like Kaia and mama Kaia is a feisty stork too with an attitude of her own)
#7193 - Kris (With my foreign ears it sounds the most 'mature' name for our regal #1)
#7194 - Kerri (For our always short #3. In my language -i is used in nicknames for kids. I am sure it is different for other languages, though)

7193 Kelby
7194 Kory

P.S. Oh, I wasn't attentive. I thought those are names in green already used before...
