Meeting a bear is a great occasion. No matter that it is a young animal that in the video pursues a strange smell by sniffing, then retreats, with dignity.

We should have to do with a two and a half years old male bear that is not yet quite an adult. It did not participate in the mating season this year

If the number of bears in Estonia may be estimated at around 700 individuals then there are about  140 adult female bears among them, and as is known female bears are in heat every other year – next year maybe 70 new bear families will roam about in the Estonian forests
