Uus kaamera

Tänavu on talvine merikotkaste toitmisplatsi kaamera pisut hilisema stardiga kui varasematel aastatel. Kaamera sättisime koos Tiidu ja Joosepiga paika 8. detsembril, aga hääle saime Beta Grupi abiga toimima alles uue aasta alguses.

Early spring breaks in, regardless of the severe -18 degrees of cold at night in the camera nest forest. Work at the nest is mostly done in early mornings. Last year the camera opened on March 5, with building of the nest already in full swing. This year we get the chance to observe the behaviour our of white-tailed eagles before the actual nesting too.
