 Do the adults really only meet so rarely? They go fishing separately, the young are fed up to eight times a day, but they only stay for a moment at the nest. The storklets are well fed, there is water in the forest creeks and no need to search for new fishing places.

 

In the evening the storklet with the most black “real” feathers did standing up exercises using its wings too. Standing on its feet for five seconds a couple of times, and respectful looks from the younger siblings ... They will be four weeks old on Saturday. Towards the end of June the storklets should get rings on their legs.
