To start with, the eaglet leaves the nest to sit on the branches of the nest tree, and manages to keep its balance nicely as well as to turn around and to return to the nest. But there was plenty of action that day.

 

 

In the video we see the female only for the second time after the ringing. She did not come with food to the nest, but to get a share of the fish brought by the male for the eaglet. Of course this made the eaglet whine loudly about the food competitor. The female seems however to have preserved some bonds to the eaglet since she tries to share the food with it…

 

At least we know that all is in order with the female and that she moves around in the same territory.
