EOÜ updated preliminary results from Birdwatch days

On the international birdwatching days EuroBirdwatch 2015 last weekend more than 150 000 birds of 148 species were counted in Estonia according to the slightly updated results.
According to the initial quick summary the highest counted numbers were of: barnacle geese, Anser geese, chaffinches, coots, bramblings, curlews, long-tailed ducks and starlings.
The most frequently seen species were: great tit, hooded crow, jay, mallard, magpie and raven.
Interesting species were for instance: red-breasted goose, white stork, corncrake, purple sandpiper, guillemot, razorbill, redstart, rock pipit, serin, Lapland bunting, snow bunting.
