Ringed plover's nest.
A handful of seashells from the shore – so much beauty! Bluish, oblong mussels shells, sturdy cockles, small pink-tinged fragile halves ... some of them are from the quite common Baltic macoma or telling (Macoma baltica), whose shell halves break easily, and are thin but very beautiful: in brownish or pink-tinged hues, quite often all-white too – as in the photo of the ringed plover’s nest.
