Strong wind and rain. Typical weather here in this spring. Could be not good for little creature.

She was away for some 30 minutes and almost crushed the chick an almost pushed an egg over the rim when stepping on the nest.

Usually it is called 'booming'.

Yes. I've just noticed, that with it's big eyes, "cloudy" look and standing head feathers it looks like a Chatter Bird from the famous russian anime "The secret fo the 3rd planet", lol.
