I was just about to write how lovely the sound of the wind through the reed is without the G R Warblers song and it started again….
But I hope that the camera will stay on for a little while. The sounds are wonderful and interesting, especially at night. Like the booming of the Bittern male last night. :shake:

00:32 What noise! Frogs, Water rail (incessantly! I would rather hear a G.R.Warbler), lots of wind. No Bittern male booming....

Fleur, the young coots may be a Water rail, says Hagnat.

I did say nothing, but the prominent loud calls in Fleurs video are Water rail. And there are calls of very young possible Coot to hear. I don't know how Water rails of that age sound.

Btw. With the internal speakers of your computer it is not possible to hear the booming of Bitterns. The sound is too low.

I see what you mean! Large birds flying over. The sound does come and go like when birds fly over. Maybe some sort of geese ? Not a cow.

23:07 Bittern booming :shake:
It's incredible that a relatively small bird can produce such a deep sound.
23:10 cows 'calling'.
