I like this cam too: it seemes as if one is sitting on the coast with cooling wind and a sun protection above while sitting inside because of the heat outside . . .

Hagnat: we look at this cam for several days now, but I could see both species only once, same with my friend. We heard a lot of different waders, but they were not visible. Therefore this nice group of common snipes today just in front of the cam is not usual. May be you had more luck . . .

Thank you Hagnat. It was a larger bird (wader), maybe some 'Tringa'. I never heard it before in the Dutch wetlands. Which doesn't mean I know all about this habitat but the common birds I usually recognise.
Or a Grey Plover, is that possible?
