Jackals. The individuals you heard, have a bit deep voices, but they're Jackals for sure. :))) They start high and descend, in a rather characteristic way. :)

sound of ... Maybe from a young beaver .......? :puzzled: I don't know. In the end I think an adult Beaver? I don't recognize the sound because I've never heard it from the young ones.


Maybe it is from a young Bird.... :blush:
