3:55 PM (15:55) local USA time.

The bald eagle pair enjoys the last afternoon sunlight together as they rest on a branch by the nest. They have some conversation as they sit. Small birds sing sweetly in the background. A horse stands by the barn. There ought to be snow on the ground here in Iowa at this time of year, but here, too, winter is reluctant this year.

The 3 eggs in the Vian eagle nest near Stillwater,Oklahoma, should start to hatch on 20 or 21 January.

Thank you, Macdoum. I had read that somewhere the other day. It was fun to see Mama feeding the little ones & Dad taking over to keep them warm when she left.
