That's the unmarked youngster with broad black terminal band and lots of funny black spots on the rest of the the tail.
These tail patterns are like fingerprints.

The one on the right is a Golden Eagle in second winter plumage.

How can I differentiate between a sparrow hawk and a goshawk? Is it only the size?

Goshawk has bright feathers above eyes, like a white eyebrow.
