Small update ... according to my observations yesterday / today until now it remains a refreshingly positive trend here.

There is enough food (a songbird in the morning today, a large chicken bird in the morning and a medium-sized bird in the afternoon) ... of which there is currently still some left over.

I got the impression that H21 is more hungry than its chicks ... their arrivals in the nest were also not greeted as greedily. But everything is okay - everyone has good harvests and is vital. Just a little dull from the heat ... .

Since the chicks are at an advanced stage of growth, they also bring smaller birds, rodents. Yes, it's in the prey spectrum range too, but I guess they don't depend on it. According to my observations, H44 is a first-class hunter who beats even larger animals. Almost similar to a female although it is delicate in nature.

Mini, the youngest chick has quickly become the most agile chick. So you could tell him apart. Now he's caught up enormously in his plumage and it's getting more difficult. But ... his head is still 'smoother'.

Chickens have a high instinct to carry prey and feed as soon as they can without the need to learn it. For me these have also started very early. What they will learn are hunting techniques as soon as they can fly, channel that pure force to anything that moves.

They are seen growing in plumage from day to day. The little one has already recovered a good part of the advantage that they took from him.
One of the distinctive points will be the coloration of the upper part of the head (crown) that takes longer as well as part of the face and the feathers that cover the legs (leggings).

For me they are two females and one male.

It's having a good time in the nest. Very relaxed ... there is enough food and no sibling rivalries. Enough food to see that the H21 and H44 are always well fed and their chicks are always very relaxed.
Sibling rivalry is seldom an issue at Goshawk anyway.
So I'll report sporadically until further notice. I think we don't (currently) have to record every feather and poop. Let's enjoy the 'let it run' ..... It's going great.

I also only work with the Tablet A7 (11 inch), it is very tedious ... oh yes. I also don't have top-notch screenshoters or screen recorders. But it has to be enough. Therefore my photos regarding the rings are probably not easy to see for you either. My photos are okay (sharp for me), but the screenshoter blurs them. Similarly, the videos, which are sometimes out of focus. Unfortunately, I have no better option.
As I said - the truth could be somewhere between H92 and H95.
Maybe we'll get some feedback soon.

We cannot assess the extent. Maybe we think worse than it is.

Two moments for today ...
Fluttery chicks ... each one has its own appearance.
The time is approaching that I have to observe more closely or document better. Another beautiful day for today. The minis move together well in their development. Motor as well as social. Mini is still the outlier, he will leave the nest first. He is hungry for life outside the nest. But his siblings are also doing well.
