11:44:45 H21 is calling from the nest ... leaning again.

11:55:33 ... a lovely little guest ...

12:01 H21 returns with a dry beech branch.

She stands with one foot on H44 and pushes the branch back and forth.
Of course she puts it back on H44's back. Their way of saying H44 is in the way.
Hmm, I think then she pushes something from behind ...

13:04 H21 got up.
The rain pauses and she loosens herself and her feathers. :innocent:

There is a lot of bark in the nest.

H21 looks classy ...

13:09:27 H21 suddenly seems nervous, awake.
She leaves the nest in a hurry, calls out.

I think both can be heard. :puzzled:

13:10:21 H44 takes over, shouts loudly on arrival at the nest.
H21 can also be heard.

... a seagull calls hard in flight.

Call H21 from the area
13:11:20 - 25
13:32:00 - 08

H44 keeps closing his eyes and his head becomes heavy. :offtobed:

Well now there are a lot of timestamps.
I thought about a video for a moment, but it's getting too long. :slap:

13:35:33 - 39 H21 calls out a little excited.
13:35:57 - 36:03 ... yes, the lady is not amused.

Further
13:36:22-28, 46-52
13:37:00 - 05, 22 - 28, 58 - 38:03
13:38:26 A crack
13:38:31 again and calls to '46

13:39:55 A crow flies over the nest.

And the angry shouts go on
13: 40: 31-38
13:41:01 - 05, 12 - 15, 32 - 38, 49 - 52
13:42:18-23, 25-28
13:43:28 - 35

13:44:24 - 27, 33 - 39 ... here you can hear that a crow is the origin.
H21 screams shrilly and the crow does not sound agree. 8-)

H44 gets up immediately, lets them come into the nest.

H44 calls from the area
14:37:03 - 09, 28 31, 46 - 49
14:38:11-13, 20-25
14:39:47 - 51
14:40:06 - 09

... then he seems to be heading for the nest.

14:40:30 H21 notices H44 even though he approaches the nest behind her back.
They seem to have good sensors.

He brings food (bigger bird?) With him, which is carried out of the nest by H21 at 14:41:15. :whistling:

Clear calls from H21 from the area
15:05:11
15:10:23 - 29

15:11:40 Crack and 'gjak' ... :innocent:
H21 is now back with a branch

15:12:06 H44 leaves the nest immediately.

16:11:05 H44 lands on the side branch.
H21 stands up ... it seems to me that she is still digesting.

16:11:40 she leaves the nest and H44 takes over.

16:41:36 - 39 H21 calls loudly, close.
16:41:34 she flutters below the nest, calls.
16:42:00 H21 is now sitting on branches not far from the nest. I've never seen her sit there before.

It seems she is nibbling on branches. - and calls.
16:42:43 H21 now comes into the nest.

16:42:56 H44 out.

Both changes and the new place of H21

18:30:55 H44 has landed in the nest.
H21 is slow, makes soft tones. Then she gets up and leaves the nest via the side branch. Calls

Image

18:42:54 she is back.
Both are apparently very, very wet.

Image

18:43:12 H44 leaves the nest and pulls a veritable streak of drops behind him.

Another terrible day in terms of weather.
At least from tomorrow it will be much better - if you believe the forecast.

Somewhat forgiving ... :innocent:

Sleep well!

May 8

5:23 to 7:40:11

(Night at 5:23:43) Female

(5:27:11 to 5:28:45) Male 1´41 "

(5:28:50 to 7:27:08) Female 1h58´18 "

(7:27:08 to 7:40:11) Male 13´03 "

Although it is not long that I have been following it, it seems that in the last days the female incubates longer and the male's relays in the incubation are short.

In addition, the female seems that she has incorporated more assiduously
other kinds of sounds that she didn't make in the early days.

Good night

May 9

4:33:22 to 22:18:16

Incubation throughout the day.

(4:33:22 to 4:53:50) Female 20´22 "

(4:54:19 to 5:26:48) Male 32´29 "

(5:27:12 to 7:13:58) Female 1h46´26 "

(7:13:51 to 7:21:58) Male 8´07 "

(7:22:06 to 11:10:57) Female 3h48´54 "

(11:11:41 to 11:22:22) Male 10´41 "

(11:22:33 to 15:47:29) Female 4h24´56 "

Single eggs 5´38 "

(15:53:07 to 20:23:19) Female 4h30´12 "

(20:24:09 to 20:27:15) Male 3´06 "

(20:27:44 to 22:18:16) Female 1h50´32 "

Before starting the schedule (at night) the female was already incubating as well as after the last laying hour.

The male has incubated four short periods of time, three in the morning and one in the late afternoon. In total 54'23 ".

The female has done it six times taking into account the night before dawn and the last period of the day that continues at night. In the controlled period, it amounts to 16:41:22 ".

There has been a period of almost six minutes in which the eggs have been alone and the female hatched followed without relief from the male.

It is confirmed that the female is incubating longer in addition to including other tones of sounds in her contact calls with the male.

Today they had a fireworks session in the distance :loveshower: I think as a tribute to Mother's Day in Latvia.

Greetings to all and Good evening.

04:36:34 - 36 H44 calls in the area.
04:37:05 he sends a 'gjak'. :innocent:

04:53:38 H44 announces itself and comes to the nest

A quick change
04:53:58 H21 leaves the nest.

H44 uses the time to doze off a bit.

05:25:58 H21 reveals itself through a crack.
05:26:00 arrived on the lower branches.
05:26:30 A short 'gjak' and 10 seconds later H21 has arrived in the nest.

H44 makes room.

The changes are now faster, no longer so playful and passionate.
H21 and H44 are now limited to warm communication, but no longer spend much time physically showing affection.
"Throw your heart across the river and swim after it."
