They will stay in the nest tree until they will be able to fly .... or crawl on the ground near the nesting tree.

This is a photo from 2013 topic, taken by Renno when camera was set up .... you can see that the nest tree is not a small tree, it has many branches where the owlets can sit and wait for parents to get food. Pic was taken in time when trees had no leaves ... but now tree will have already foliage that will shelter the owlets, when they sit on the branches.

I:27 the chick has been calling for food, but now he also farted, so I think it's Eike... :mrgreen:

Let's see if any of them will come to sleep back into the box in the morning...

Sounds are very peacefully, it's nice to listen their voices. Without any stress.

1:32 sounds of somebody moving and still calling for food...somebody moves near microphone...
1:34 and yes, it does sounds like he is trying to swallow something...that bird was big for him!

Maybe the calling chick was more on the branch, rather than on the roof.

Maybe on the left, near the microphone, still very close...he kept moving and calling...but I think he was still on the roof...
