Is it really so cruel - that if no other food is available the youngest chicks go?

That really is cruel and the same thing happens almost every year: two last chicks become food for others.

At least two of them are not permanently asking food, having their heads turned towards the wall of the box - so hunger must be not that big

What was it - third or fourth frog now? And it is not yet midnight.

I think that fifth frog from Klaara and at 15:37 was a mouse from Klaus.

Thank you!

This is not too little food for my opinion. We have 00:02 Estonian time now, to keep a sense of proportion.

Everybody is quiet and fed in the box now.
