Because of the crumbs in its face? On the bottom of the nestbox is a refill of fresh wood chips and sawdust, it dipped its face in it and the material is stuck on the feathers

Made some turns and went out at 00:21
I forgot that I left the cam on the comp. The noise scared me...

Just found this cam.
It is hard to believe that they can raise 2 let alone 6 chicks in this narrow space. The female fills the box already
But they seem to have done it before. It'll be interesting to watch.
