I hope the smallest does not have to suffer too long

Okay Maggy, I start again recording ... please tell me how long or where to stop.

I just started catching up and am watching the live feed... such a sad situation. It looks like the remaining owlet is eating, or trying to eat, its dead sibling.
In the end, food is food. Nature is hard...

I really hoped all 3 would make it. We all did! But with food, this last owlet should be strong enough to make it safely out the window soon, and have a life.

Now the owlet is just standing there calling, but he was tugging before at the other one earlier. Sorry to be blunt. :(

Shanta, sorry, I didn't see that till now.
Yes Shanta, the smallest's suffering is over.
Don't even know where to stop recording. Hopefully you started earlier.
Maybe 10 minutes or so? It's not over yet, I mean the small's body is still in the box. Just see how long you can make it.
And take care of yourself.
XOXO

Right, he doesn't seem to be able to cope with it and needs to be fed. He's not getting nutrition. He's calling every half minute or so.

It seems odd that Klaara would not be checking in, as she knows there are still babies in the nest. I wonder if she is focused on feeding the one that has already left the nest?

Big takes breaks from calling. He's quiet again now.

I have to head off to bed. Will check back when I get up...I'm not quite ready to give up hope that a feeding will occur.

Hellem, sweetie, I know, I was hoping against everything for the miracle. But miracle didn't happen this time, very sad!
This season was the best at the beginning and just horrible now. We didn't expect it would be so tough!
And now Big is also so. so hungry! Klaara, please!!! Where are you?
Hellem, I'll go to bed soon, but if you are around, or whoever is around, please report on the nest in case Klaara comes or something. What a sad, sad, sad day!(((
My love to all of you!

That would be difficult tonight, Timea. But I'll try.
I'm glad we are all together trying to support each other. Only we know how it feels.
Timea, if you are around, report please!
I need good news by the morning!
11:47 looks like Big finds a way how to eat a bit and is singing happy songs.
otherwise it was very scary to go to bed

Thanks for reporting Hellem. It looked like the worst was to lose Small, but to lose Big after that would be just unbearable!
What a crazy season!
