Yes, unfortunatelly after the moment when there is not ehough food there is no much hope for a chick #5, espesially if it was hatched a week after chick #1. This one was around the longest time for a chick #5. It was very sweet as well as all of them.

Yes, the long time between #1 and #5 is a great problem. But that is nature.

It looked as if the Owlet could not swallow it. Klaara helps out, but difficult to say what happened exactly.
