It's okay Shanta, they'll manage somehow. It's going to be challenging though. She tricked us by starting incubating early. We stopped thinking about eggs.

Klaara has thus laid the fifth egg after about 78+? hours after egg #4, unbelievable.
5 eggs ... this will be a tough time for Klaara and Klaus, chicks and for us observers.

Yes, Shanta, we didn't expect it anymore. But probably few days ago when Klaus brought food 3 times Klaara took 3rd mouse out and decided to go for another egg! This is all very strange. I'm also thinking that could've been some mistake on owl's part, but how, I wish some ornithologist could explain it to us.
The last owlet has no chances at all after hatching, it will be too small while owlet #1 will be already more than 10 days old. Unfortunately we know what will be happening.
For someone who is watching for the first time, especially if you are watching with kids, take a break after 4th owlet hatching. We'll give you another warning around that time.
