Yes, I know, I have read it, Solo.
I only wanted to inform you that the hatching is still going on.

Try to believe my words. The shot might be bad, but I have seen the body still half in the shell.

Good evening everybody,

thank you all, Solo, Liz, George and Baska, for todays reports, pictures and videos! :2thumbsup:

I've some pics from the DAB nest.
19:24 It looks as if the bottom of the storklet is still in the egg shell. See also the cutout below. But maybe that's just deceptive because the visibility is not optimal; it's very far away. At least the storklet had changed its position completely; in Solos pic from 16:50 it was looking to the other direction.

Here it has its head up. Hard to see. But only for two seconds, then the head went down again. I hope the little one is well. :2thumbsup:

Gemenc 19:29
When I saw todays pictures of the completely soaked storks I feel very sorry for them. How awful! Hopefully they will not get sick in the wetness and cold.
I'm relieved that now it has stopped raining. The stork at nest looks a bit more dry.
Image

20:30 The storklets have a thin neck. One has done a tiny PS.

:hi: Baska,

settings time - you can change it:
click on your name
click on User Control Panel
click on Board Preferences (Edit global settings)
change My timezone

"nest time" (= CET) isn't local time (=CET+1, summer time)
