Re: Black Stork Nests in Europe
With this one, I'm quite sure. that it is a hole. And with the second egg, too, I got the impression that it is starting to crack.

You're welcome, Yoko!
Baska, in your last picture it is very good to see! A hole!
Because hatching seems very early to me, I have looked up once again. There are very different descriptions. Mostly is said, that hatching starts after 34 - 38 days of breeding. Now I've found an information from the BUND where it is said, that hatching can happen after 30 - 45 days.
Today we have day 31 from laying the second egg. I'm excitedly, how it goes on.

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
07:40 am CEST
The chick is hardly not to recognize...
.
Micky, Tiit and Tiina's chicks used to need 32 or 33 days until hatching.

Wonderful! The first chick has hatched!
It's such a pity, that the pictures in this cam don't move.

The third storklet is in the world!
It's marvelous that from all three eggs a chick has hatched.
Two pics from 16:00.
19:17 Already all three chicks on their feet.
