Black Stork Nests in Europe

handicapped pair named Toník/Anthony (M) and Tonička/Antonia (F)

both storks flew out (jump) of the nest this morning (one of them already yesterday) and walked back, repeatedly
btw. they are still without ring and transmitter

(camera time is CET - not CEST/summer time):




and jump up and out with big wing flapping and noises (very near the microphone)

and in the same direction flew/jumped out also the second storklet


and the way back (walking up to the nest)


and the sibling is immediately back too

Both storklets in Makov fledged, Tonda was doing nestwork in the empty nest.

at least one of the storklets fledged !

i don't know when and if the other one fledged, too, i was able to watch only a very short time and saw one flying around the nest.

(unfortunately i had no time to take and insert a picture)

12.55 they dry their wings


12.56 one flies off for a round in the forest

12.59 the other one is eagerly exercising, jumping very much and very high


13.00 it will not take long and it will also fly in the forest......

Yesterday the black storklets from Makov were released
