well camouflaged and quiet .. I think it's a wild animal

Looked and moved like a darkish fox with not so fluffy tail (young or possibly mangy?) to me. Or maybe a slender raccoon dog.
Could also be just a (feral) dog.

pazi, Liz , it could also be a jackal, there are many of them in Matsalu, in 2017/2018 we even had the Golden Jackal camera in Matsalu

Jackal was the one I was searching for in my mind, but could only at the moment find coyote, which I don't think live in Estonia.
I KNEW there was a fox-like animal that it probably was but had a complete memory block. Thanks Hellem.
