Birds observed at the Matsalu WTE Nest Camera 2021

Post by ame »

welcome to this special topic!
:gathering:

the purpose is to make here a list of bird species observed with this nest camera, including also the WTEs who don't live here, especially if they are ringed. in case of unringed eagles try to get pictures which might be useful in identifying the eagles.

everyone is welcome to contribute. please include pictures and / or videos. also voice observations are welcome.

please fill in the observations which have been made. please include the time of the observation as accurately as possible. in case of pictures please don't cut out the time stamp. if possible you can even enlarge the time stamp for us with limited eyesight.
at this point the chronological order is not so crucial, but in the future it is recommended (not mandatory).

have fun and learn more birds!

Jānis Ķuze ringed this bird as the only eaglet in the nest 16.05.2017 in the northern part of Kurzeme. This is the first reading.

Think one list in one post here in first page could give good overview, but more discussion about determination, links to voices, recordings, etc in common posts.
Maybe list something like in Capercaillie forum it has been kept:

Well done Nordri! Pro staff...
We need to work more to make saved material available for public. It is not that easy, but possible.
