there was no other action today but Sulev's visit was certainly enough for one day!
i don't think that anyone minds if i add Sulev's pictures in this gif again.

all day was again so very dark. towards evening the wind became harder.

at 17:31 the camera went to sleep.

Hopefully he return and Linda also, I keep my fingers crossed.

someone began to use a circular saw, presumably to cut firewood at the nearby farm.
the wind carries the sound over the forest to the nest.

I did not know that WTE also bring a fresh twig to show that the nest is occupied.

actually neither did i ... but WTEs are residential birds so i guess that they come every now and then to check that everything is ok at home. and why not bring some decorations at the same trip, too.

it was so dark today again and it snowed almost all day. later in the afternoon the snowing turned to water i think, because the snow layer began to get thinner...


the camera went to sleep at 17:37. today it went on till it was almost completely dark...

Really fierce wind here in this area. Nest is shaking very hard

i don't think so Bea... but who knows, maybe they are somewhere. when this camera became operational i tried to find tehm by making guesses of the address but i didn't find any. T-Urmas tends to name these files with a slightly different pattern every year and he has sometimes changed them later, too. but it is possible that the material is stored somewhere. if there should be some evidedence that someone has been here then i'll ask him.

it was so windy today. earlier in the day it was snowing but that stopped in the afternoon.


the camera went to sleep at 17:40.

It was the whole day really windy/stormy.

12:46 i heard wings fluff right next to the nest but when i looked i saw nothing!??
was there someone sitting by the nest, someone who had come without me noticing?
ravens are making so much noise on the feeding ground...

i checked the Pontu-pictures and saw nothing there either.

a bit later at 13:00 a woodpecker began to call quite near the nest. maybe i heard it coming. it called for a while and then left.


there's such a beautiful sunshine in the nest forest!

so i wasn't hearing things. i heard eagle calls at 15:04 from very far.


it was sunny earlier today but later in the afternoon it became cloudy.


the camera turned off at 17:46.

I keep my finger crossed and I look forward when Linda will back to the nest.
