Re: White-Tailed Sea Eagles 2012-2013

Post by ame » January 11th, 2013, 5:00 pm

the camera was off all day.
VLC gave me error messages which looked like this. i think it meant that the whole transmission was off and not just the camera. or i dont know. the seal camera gives similar messages when it's off. :puzzled:
Image
better luck tomorrow i hope.

I also tried a couple of times! Maybe the wind was too strong? Hope it did not disconnect anything!

There are problems with transmission. Before darkening I adjust just a little the antenna close to nest and changed batteries. Will see in the morning if it helped or there are more severe problem.

But there were some downy feathers close to the nest so Linda-Sulev have visited the place during last two weeks. Probably not the nest itself.

Thanks for the information, Renno, we all hope and keep our fingers crossed, for the problem being solved already and for Linda and Sulev coming to stay and breed at the nest!

Thank you for this information! Very encouraging that there are traces after the main characters near the nest, I cross my fingers..

12:25 - A bird out of sight is working near the cam, and a dog is barking. I also heard sound of wood (or something like that) that breaks/ cracks..
