someone must be building something perhaps at the near-by farm because i hear the sound of the circular saw every now and then. if the saw would be used for making firewood it would sound more often, almost continuously.
the wind is rather hard and loud but despite of it i heard also a siren of an ambulance (or police car) a while ago. - and of course there have been voices of birds from the bay and the forest: swans (calls of whooping swans and whizzing wings of mute swans) and alot of splatting sounds from their feet as they take off; a bullfinch, a magpie, a jay....

At 14:20 a WTE landed on the nest. Sorry no screenshot. Was too quick! Was only looking around for about 15-20 seconds and took off again.

at last i got the video and pictures. it was a stranger, and not Sulev: big spots in the middle of the tail and some 'dirt' on the sides an in the tip of the tail. it seemed to me that it had golden brown eyes, like honey-coloured and not pale-yellow as Sulev has. this isn't quite full-grown yet i think.
stranger today on the left and Sulev on April 17th at 14:59 on the right (this is from Pontu-picture so is much clearer).
.
- and this is not the eagle who was pestering our eagle family in the spring. that was a young eagle.
a gif made of some frames in the video:
and here's the video of the visit. it was there for only 15 s so it is quite an 'accident' that it was caught in a Pontu-picture (which are taken once is 60 s). we were doubly lucky that Klurt happened to see it live!

Thanks ame,
for the report of the WTE-visit and the video - for all, who haven't seen it "live"!
Mutikluti and you have exactly regarded and discribed the WTE - so we know:
It wasn't LINDA or SULEV in their home.
But we enjoyed the visitor, too!
